Brand: In Marsberg in the Sauerland the
tradition of glass-making has been cultivated for centuries. The workers are
familiar with the secrets of mouth-blown glasses and are able to impart all
colours and forms to shapes and to decorate, gold-plate, smooth and polish even
the most delicate of glasses. In order to express these traditions with modern,
contemporary products, Ritzenhoff commissioned the creative minds at Sieger
Design to find new shapes for mouth-blown glass - and the Sieger collection was
born.

Sieger Design - The
first in the high-quality Ritzenhoff collections of mouthblown glass
used designs by Dieter Sieger - architect and shipbuilder and one of the
most successful designers of our time. In all product-design tasks, his
understanding of shape has always been influenced by architecture:
clearly separated shapes in balanced proportions, modern in
functionality and classical in appearance. He has called his language of
shape "design with feeling". Sieger Design developed and coordinated the
creation of all Ritzenhoff's collections and design projects. |

designers from all over the world to create whimsical wares for the
tabletop. With 32 collections that include beer glasses, shot glasses,
champagne flutes and espresso cups, with new introductions each year.
Ritzenhoff collections may be found on tables, in collectors' showcases
and museum Exhibitions in 50 countries all over the world. As gifts, souvenirs
