situations. With "heart", Ritzenhoff is addressing our
feelings and creating warm moments for in-between ...
and this little object of art may also be hung on walls,
doors or windows with the hook and ribbon. To create a
heart that is a personal ambassador of feelings – that
was what the designers were asked to do. As varied as
the world of feelings is and as different as the reasons
are to give someone a heart, this is how individual the
decorations by our designers have turned out to be –
heartfelt gifts.
Don't we all at some time want to pick the stars from
the skies for our loved ones? With her heart of many
little stars, the designer Juliane Breitbach has
presented us with a lovingly packaged heaven on earth.
Love has so many facets: the love we feel for our
parents, the love for our friends, our children and
naturally the love of our life – sometimes it’s visible,
sometimes it’s not, sometimes it briefly disappears
behind a facade. And how opposites in love attract and
belong together is revealed in the hearts by Dominic
Pangborn, Michael Sieger and Tim Davies.
The colours on the heart by the designer Martina Schulte
are as gentle as butterfly colours because to have
butterflies in your stomach is one of the absolute
symptoms of being smitten – love is then never very far
away. Flowers, colours, joy of life – love is wonderful
– that’s what Dominic Pangborn wants to say. Like a
lighthouse at night, love on Beppe del Greco’s heart
shows lovers the way because the path of love is always
the right road to take – where ever it leads. Petra
Peschkes has remembered all those who have ever tried to
play Cupid and bring two hearts together because it is
"Time for Love".
