Born in 1944, works on a freelance basis in Marburg, Germany.

Studied art from the early spring to the late autumn of the decade surrounding 1968, worked hard in art and making art accessible without ever losing his footing between his firmly grounded roots in Hesse and a universal longing. His work has enough of an enthusiastic following among collectors to allow him to devote himself to his art without teaching.
