Born in 1958 Tel-Aviv, Israel.
 

Even if you don't know it – you might just be standing on one of her works right at this minute. Shalev is a world-famous carpet and textile designer. She also combines curtains, paper products, porcelain and shower curtains with her characteristic style. Her influences: pop art, the Spanish, cave paintings and her home country. Her style: consequently versatile – sometimes minimalist, sometimes full of humour, always lively. Has been working closely with such German firms as Karstadt, Rosenthal, Design House since 1994.
