In 1979, she moved to Milan and worked for George Sowden as a designer until 1987. During this time, she devoted her attention primarily to design of finishes: cloth, wallpaper and plastic laminates and in addition furniture of various materials. Du Pasquier was a co-founder of the Memphis group for which she has designed major products. In 1987, she moved into her own studio where she devotes her times exclusively to painting
