Sandra Dörfler, born in 1973, and Katharina Räderer, born in 1974, both graphic and product design graduates from the HfG Karlsruhe.
 
As part of their theses they organized the Schrägspur International Video Festival – named after a procedure for efficiently using video tapes – and then established their design and organization firm of the same name. Orientation: always off the beaten track.
